Reach For Me, I'm Ready And How, I'm Really Starting To Buzz

It is always nice when a story finds a home. Sometimes, it takes a really long time. There are stories I wrote so long ago, and still no one wants to take them in. But, I'm not one to give up easily. Sometimes, you have to knock on doors and send email after email. But persistence can pay off.

My "little story that could", Highland Trail Park, is the feature story over at Good Vibrations Magazine this week. This story has been submitted more times than I care to admit, and I'm so stoked that someone finally gave it a chance.

So, take a hike on over and let me know what you think. Don't forget your umbrella and your wellies!!

By the way, how much do I need these boots??!!??

Firstly, love the boots!

And congratulations - I have stories like that, and I just save them for...something, I'm sure. :)

Thanks, Rachel. I can't bring myself to ever get rid of a story, no matter how "bad."

I checked, and the boots are sold out right now. Such a bummer.

Well done! ("Wellies done"?) I'll head over to GV and read your L.S. that C.!

Congratulations Heidi, and holy fabulous boots!!

The images of the mud and rain are still with me. :)

Thanks, JE and Emerald.

Maybe I shouldn't have chosen boots that were so distracting. ;) But they are fabulous, no?

Nice story, Heidi. Love the way you played up the senses. Very sexy!

I too have stories that seem hard to place, and there's a little extra gratification when they finally find a home.

Congrats!

Read the story earlier but got distracted and never came back to comment. ;-)

I'm suddenly looking forward to mud season.

Thanks, Robin.

Don't worry. I too am easily distracted. ;) Glad you liked it.
