And I'll Always Be Just So Inviting

This week looks to be a busy one. I've got so much to do, and time will be scarce. I'm trying to just do one thing at a time, but my multi-tasking brain doesn't always cooperate. Wish me luck. And, what better way to start a week like this than with some delicious Man Candy.

Traveled Down The Road And Back Again

I took a moment away from this beautiful day to get online, only to discover that Bea Arthur, one of my favorite Golden Girls has past away at 86. I adore the show, and am still a huge fan. She will be missed. I regret even more now not seeing her one woman show when I had the chance. Rest in Peace, Bea!

You Couldn't See That It Was Not That Way

I wanted to thank everyone who stopped by from Pop Candy the last two days. My statcounter didn't know what hit it!! Keep on stopping by, you won't be sorry.

Man, I'm so glad the semester is almost over. It started out so well, but lately, I just haven't been feeling my classes. My Freelance Writing class is pretty much over. The teacher offered us a chance to get published and score a free ride the rest of the way. I did that, and now I'm just playing out the string. My second class, Non Fiction, which has been my favorite class, has been irritating me lately.

It's not the work, or the professor, or the grades. It's my classmates. A few in particular. Much to my chagrin, my class is full of right-wingers and one student in particular who thinks he knows everything. In the beginning, I chalked it up to his age and lack of perspective. But, now, he's really just rubbing me the wrong way. I just want to turn in my portfolio, get my grade, and move on. I foolishly thought that a college campus might spark some intelligent discourse, but it has yet to come.

Other than that, I'm waiting and waiting for responses to my submissions. Keeping my fingers crossed for some good news. I can't wait for the weekend. I'm in need of some relaxation and some nice weather.

When A Wrong Becomes A Right

Just a quick note to let you know my story, Past or Present, is up at The Erotic Woman. Take a read and let me know what you think. I'm finding it so hard to concentrate on my deadlines when it is so damned nice outside. The birds are calling me, maybe I should go out and say hello.

Someone's Changing Our Lives, I Know It Isn't Me

I'm getting closer to my goal. I got my memoir piece back in class on Tuesday, and I got a 97. So close to that 100% but time is running out. I fear the semester will end before I reach my elusive perfection. But, it was still nice to see that number circled so brightly on my paper. It was also cathartic to write about my life. My professor was again encouraging me to publish in the non-fiction world, and I'm beginning to consider it more and more. At this point, I rule nothing out.

It has been a rough couple of weeks. My husband found out last Monday that come June 30th, he will be out of a job, and then later that week, I got a rejection email for a project I was very much interested in being a part of. I hate to admit that it all knocked me straight on my ass, and even the cuteness of my dear niece in her Easter dress couldn't eradicate my funk. I'm slowly coming back, but sometimes I feel like my brain will explode from one more piece of depressing news.

So, I soldier on, trying to stay focused and trying to be creative with a severely cluttered mind.

Your Lips a Perfect "Suck Me" Size

I didn't think it was possible. I never thought I could think about blow jobs any more than I already did. But, this week, I couldn't think about anything else. So, then I started wondering. I think it's pretty clear from this Tour that we women love blow jobs a whole lot. For a myriad of reasons. And, I know why my man loves them. But, I wanted to know what other men thought. So, I decided to put all my dirty thoughts to good use and conduct an informal and wholly inappropriate survey. I asked some of the men in my universe what they like about BJ's. I wanted more than the standard answer of "Everything!!!" And, boy did I get it. Here is a random sampling of what some of the blokes had to say. I hope you find it as illuminating as I did.

*"It's so intimate. For me, putting myself in a woman's mouth is the ultimate mark of trust."
*"I love the variety of sensations. Hands, mouth, tongue, breathe. It all works so well together."
*"It can make me feel dominated without a rope or handcuff in sight."
*"You can do it anywhere and still stay 99% clothed. Perfect for those red light moments."
*"How wet she gets after she's finished. It makes me crazy for her."
*"When she's on her knees, and she looks up at me while I'm in her mouth. I swear to God, she looks damn near reverent."

Wow, right? I was so impressed with the honesty. There are so many reasons to love blow jobs, it is impossible to express them all here. Plus, I want to save something for the rest of my Tour mates. Let's cut to the good stuff, shall we?

I chose a piece from one of my favorite stories, that also happens to be my first anthology appearance, This Just In. Appropriately enough, the story appeared in Tasting Him, edited by Rachel Kramer Bussel. Please to enjoy.

“There is one thing I want to do before I go.”

I reached up and took the paper script out of your pocket and smoothed it out on the desk in front of you. I moved my hands to your zipper. You tried to stop me, stammering about work
and begging me to be serious. But, I didn’t stop.

“I want you to read. Read the news.”
“Are you crazy? What is going on with you?”
“Just do it. Trust me.”

I slipped under the desk in front of you, and reached back into your pants. You hesitated, just sitting there.

“Read. Please?”

My fingers freed your cock from your boxers and I heard your breath quick and erratic above me. You cleared your throat just as I stuck out my tongue to touch you. I heard your voice fill the empty space. I knew I could never have the real fantasy; that this was the closest I would ever get. You were hard, in spite of your clear discomfort. Even in an empty room I could tell you were scared to be caught. After all, this was your job. As the head of your cock eased back in my throat, the news of the day filled my ears. Your voice wobbled a bit, trying to adjust to the reality of me sucking you off at your desk. My hands ran up your thighs, pushing you deeper with each word that came out of your mouth.

“God, you’re killing me.”

I was pretty sure that wasn’t on the page, but I was still happy to hear it. My fingers wrapped around the base of your cock, holding you deep in my throat for as long as I could. I ran my tongue up the shaft and I heard you lose it for just a moment. But, you kept reading as I moved my tongue slowly up to suck the tip. I moved one hand from your leg and reached up my skirt to find my panties nearly soaked through. Pushing them aside, I let two fingers slide slowly inside my pussy. I felt you looking down at me. You stopped reading for just a few seconds. I gazed up at you, reluctantly letting your cock out of my mouth for a moment.

Going back to your cock, I sucked the tip, gently at first. Then, after a few swirls of my tongue, I took it all in my mouth again. I felt one of your hands drop to my head, pushing me down. Despite my best efforts, you kept reading. I heard pages falling to the floor, landing next to my knees. My fingers moved faster inside my pussy, as your cock moved faster in and out of my mouth. Both of your hands were on my head, holding me. Your voice was frantic, like nothing I had ever heard before. The words were tumbling out of your mouth faster and faster, but I didn’t care. I just wanted to hear your voice.

I moved both my hands back up to your thighs, running them over the Italian wool of your pants. Your fingers were twined in my hair as the last few pages of the news hit the floor with the others. You were harder than I had felt you in months. I wanted you deeper in my throat, and I never wanted to get up from under that desk.

“I can’t take much more of this.”

That was all I needed to hear. My fingers dropped back to my pussy, and I felt your legs tremble under me as you pushed and pulled your cock in and out of my mouth. I wasn’t in control anymore. You had gone back to running the show. Your show. I could feel you swelling, like you always did right before you came. Your pace was slow, each thrust deliberate and forceful. I felt the tip of your cock hit the back of my throat each time, shooting another electric shock straight to my pussy. I rubbed my clit with my thumb, and felt everything start to unravel. My orgasm shouted through me, but got trapped in my throat. I had to be content to moan around your cock, my fierce desire to yell turned into a few muffled hums. Your voice, on the other hand, was as powerful as ever. You cried out into the empty room, one last word from your beautiful lips. I felt you release your hands from my hair. Soon, your composure returned.

Calm finally came back to the room, and I looked up at you. Your face was a picture of a million different emotions. You pushed back in your chair, and I retrieved your papers before I stood up. By the time I was done, you were buttoned up and looked every inch the professional news man again. I kissed you, the shock still evident under your unflappable demeanor.

“I should go. You have work to do.”

I walked out the door and left you standing there.

Never Be The Proof But Then It All Came True

Writing is a solitary endeavour, but getting that writing published and read is anything but. That is why it is so nice to know when people like what you've done. I received word of this fabulous review of Like Magnets, We Attract from the editor, Jaye Valentine. Needless to say, I was thrilled to read such fabulous words about my words. The review was written by Kassa11, who writes for Rainbow Reviews.

Against the Current, by Heidi Champa. This animated hook up between a surfing expert and an off balance klutz is delightful and fun from start to finish. This memorable vacation encounter is sure to stay in the minds of both men and readers for a while, highlighting the solid writing and enticing sex scenes. Without the need for a romantic ending, this story typifies the hopeful dreams of horny vacationers. If only we were all so lucky when washed up on the beach.

You can read the whole review here, and the book is available through Excessica on April 13th. Check it out. Also, a reminder that Playing with Fire is available now. Run out and grab your red-hot copy today.

Speaking of red-hot, run over to Alison Tyler's today for her continuation of the Blow Hard Tour 2009.
