My mind has been on such a wander, I almost hate to bring it back to the tasks at hand. My inspiration has been showing up late at night, planting little seeds of ideas while I'm ready to drift off to dreamland. There are so many things I'm trying to sort out. My stories are in danger of getting all mixed up. As it is, there is a bottleneck forming at the front of the line.
Very soon, I'll be traveling to the tranquil pastures of Maine to see my in-laws and give my mother a much needed mini-vacation. Until then, my brain is on full blast, even at this late hour. As soon as my Cats finish vanquishing the Melbourne Demons, I'm going to bed. I've got a weekend to prepare for.

Hey there,
God, can I relate. I feel like I go 100 miles per hour and I still can't get everyone (oh, shit, I meant everything, but that's good too- haha) done on the list.
It is tough when ideas pop into your brain just when you're trying to get some much needed rest. Sucks.
Have a great time in Maine. Hopefully those ideas will find their way onto paper.
Thanks, Neve. Good to know I'm not alone.
Here's hoping the ideas are flowing for you too.

Ack, I feel like I relate to this so much. Sometimes I look at the group of stories I have in progress and feel like I don't even know which one to work on. And then sometimes when I do feel drawn to work on a certain one, there has sometimes seemed to be a distraction in me somewhere dwelling on what to do with one (or more) of the others. Silly egoic distraction!
Anyway, be well. :) Take a deep breath (as I just did too...).
Thank, Emerald. Distractions certainly seem to be everywhere. But, I hate that most of them come from inside my own head. ;)
Off to do my deep breathing. Have a good weekend.
