Stripes on Her Eyes When She Walks Slow

What a busy week. I'm not sure how I managed to get it all done. But, I did. Thank God. But, things never seem to slow down. The words never stop. Not that I want them to. The last thing on earth I want to do at this point is tempt the fates of writer's block. The one area of my writing life that has suffered is this blog. For that, I'm truly sorry.

I was blocked for a little while this week. But, I seem to have found the magic cure. The shower. Every time I go in there, I come out with a great idea. Or at the very least, an idea. Their greatness may be debatable. I still don't know why the inspiration comes with water, but I'm not asking too many questions. Mystery of life, I guess.

It was a good weekend. My boys made it thirteen in a row, and the rest of it just keeps rolling, moving right along. It's all I can do to stop and have a piece of Man Candy. But, hey, everyone deserves a break.

Yeah, water!!

Thinking about this ... we're mostly made of water. Our planet is mostly made of water. We spend the first 9 months of life immersed in water. Maybe that's why water (either in an ocean stretching to the horizon or pouring down from a showerhead) can inspire us.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to get a glass of water. (Yes, I'm practicing my ventriloquist act again.)

I get the best ideas when I'm in or around water too. Maybe my friend, the Earthy, sexy Virgo (that would be you) has Water in her astrological chart somewhere? Hmmm...make sure we do your min-reading when birthday time comes around for you in September, okydoke?

Fantastic that you're creative juices are flowing, and that you're feeling clean too. :-)

p.s. Jeremy makes a more logical point in his comment.

Jeremy, I hope the next time I see you, your routine is perfected. It sounds like a hoot.

Neve, wouldn't water in my earth sign make me mud? ;) I'm sure you've heard that one 100 times. ;)

Thanks, you two, for stopping by.
