There are some things you grow to count on, and you think they are always going to be there. Even when you know in your head they are only temporary, you still hold out hope that something will change and things will become permanent. But, as with much in life, nothing good ever lasts.
My hubby and I went to Target the other day, hoping for one last Tim Tam run before they were gone for good. But, alas, as we rounded the corner to the cookie aisle, the space that was once filled with chocolaty goodness was barren. Not a biscuit to be found. We knew it was coming, but neither of us was prepared for them to go so soon. We thought we'd have more time, more of a chance to stockpile our reserves, to supplement our rations. But, at least locally, it was not to be.
But, life goes on. Some how. What Australia givith was too easily taken away. Now, all I can do is reminisce about the good times and make those cookies last as long as possible.
